As an immigrant who arrived in the United States from South America at the age of two, I understand that the immigration journey is often filled with both hope and challenges. Adjusting to a new country, culture, and way of life can require tremendous strength, courage, and resilience.
Growing up in a multicultural environment allowed me to witness firsthand the sacrifices many immigrant families make in pursuit of safety, stability, and opportunity. My family’s resilience, perseverance, and commitment to building a new life have been among my greatest inspirations and continue to influence my passion for supporting immigrant communities today.
With my family’s support, I pursued higher education and developed a deep commitment to helping individuals and families navigate difficult life experiences. My clinical background includes experience in both outpatient and inpatient psychiatric settings, where I have supported individuals facing trauma, anxiety, depression, major life transitions, and complex psychosocial stressors.
My professional experiences have deepened my understanding of how immigration-related experiences, including separation, uncertainty, trauma, cultural adjustment, and systemic barriers, can impact mental health and overall well-being.
At Liberty Psychological Evaluations, I am honored to provide comprehensive, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed psychosocial evaluations for individuals and families navigating the immigration process. Each evaluation is approached with compassion, respect, and a commitment to understanding each person’s unique story.
I believe every individual has a unique story that deserves to be heard with compassion, dignity, and respect. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive evaluation experience where clients feel understood while receiving a thorough, objective, and clinically informed assessment. Through a trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach, I strive to honor each person’s experiences while providing high-quality evaluations that meet professional and ethical standards.
